May I know what is the correct way to install the Dashboard (e.g. Starhub)?
Connect the USB Modem to the computer first, and then install the Dashboard. The operating system will try to find the new hardware and install driver automatically.
Can I plug out the USB Modem without removing via the operating system?
USB Modem supports hot plug in/plug out, however, our recommendation is to remove it via your operating system, as stated in the user manual.
Why is it slow when sending messages to multiple users?
When sending messages, the USB Modem will separate the progress into N parts. Then the system will send messages one after another. That means, if one failed, all messages that after can not send any more. To know how many messages succeed in sending, you can look them up in outbox or, you can setup sending status report.
What shall I do if I cannot access internet?
Be sure Data Service of your USIM card is activated. You may check with the Operator.
Click ”Connect” to make connection to internet.
Make sure APN is correct.
When USB Modem was plugged into the computer, Windows hangs, or run slowly, or cannot open the Virtual CD-ROM of USB Modem. What shall I do?
It may be caused by some software or services which have been installed are conflicted with the USB MODEM.
To get the cause:
Run msconfig in the star-menu to open System configuration Utility.
Choose Services in System configuration Utility, and then select Hide All Microsoft Services and Disable All. At last choose apply and reboot system.
Re-plug the USB MODEM into the computer, if the system run ok, that means some software or service conflict with USB Modem. You can start the service one by one to find which conflict with the USB MODEM. And then you can solve the problem by uninstalling the software.
If you disable all service, but the problem is still on. Please contact your Operator or Technical Support.
No new hardware is found when the USB Modem is connected to computer. What shall I do?
Change to another USB port

When surfing on the internet, I failed to receive a message. Is it lost?
There is narrow chance to receive message when data flows on line. Only if cut off the data flow can you receive the message continuously. Furthermore, sometimes you can not open the web page or no data flows, however, you can go on logging on line when sending out all the messages.
When USB Modem is connected to computer, how can I confirm the USB Modem has been successfully installed?
You may confirm in Device Manager:
Open “Control Panel”.
Open “Hardware”, select “Device Manager”
What can I do if send short message always fail?
Please check SMS center settings
When I click the key to connect to the network, it displays “Modem not found”
At this time, the operating system does not successfully drive the USB Modem. Please connect the USB Modem to computer again, the operating system will auto detects and recognizes the USB Modem hardware.

To use the USB MODEM, The following are recommendatory required for your laptop:
CPU: Pentium 500 MHz or above
Memory: 128MB RAM or above
Hard Disk: 50MB free disk space
USB Modem Interface: USB 2.0 full speed
Display Resolution: 800x600 or above (1024x768 is recommended)
